N|1:How did you both meet?
We met through mutual friends. My best friend and roommate went to high school with Scott. One night as my friend and I left dinner, we ran into Scott and his group of friends. We stopped so she could say hi to them, and fate would have it that we all ended up hanging out that night. After casually being introduced, Scott and I started to talk, and we hit it off. We went on our first date the very next night.
N | 2: How did you know he/ she was the one?
We quickly knew we were meant for each other because we spent most of the early parts of our relationship talking about our relationship with God, our families, our experiences, and our hopes for the future. We have so much fun just being goofy with each other. We’ve always put each other’s needs before our own and quickly became each other’s best friend because of that, so it was pretty undeniable that he/she was the one.
3:What is a good piece of advice you would give any newly engaged couple in this season?
When it feels like planning is overwhelming and stressful, go on a fun date with your person to remind yourself what this is all about. Everything thing will get done and come together in the end.
N|4:What was your favorite part about your wedding day at The Nest?
Of course getting to see all of our family and friends in one place for the first time, enjoying each others company and having fun! But also, we will never forget our private last dance. It was our favorite moment because had a chance to let this perfect day soak in without everyone’s eyes on us.
N|5: What is one planning tip you could give couples planning there wedding at The Nest?
If your on a budget, the great thing about The Nest is that it’s beautiful how it is (inside and outside), so you don’t need to stress or try to outdo yourself with decorations. You can keep things simple and it will still turn out beautiful!
